Spooky Halloween Letters

A quick and easy Halloween project, and another way to use up old baby food jars:

To make them, my Halloween-obsessed son brainstormed some spooky words.  (We’d just read the story Eek-a-Boo, so those words were on his mind.)  I told him how to spell the words, and he attached the stickers and dropped in the battery operated candles.  Real candles would work too, but they’re not as fun for kids to play with.  🙂  -Not that kids should technically be playing with the battery candles either, but you know what I mean.  Anyway, last I attached the wire for a little flair.  My son loves them and spends quite a bit of time enjoying the glow of the fake candles in our dark, spooky bathroom.
