Happy Almost New Year

Happy (almost) 2013! I know I said I was on vacation until next week but I want to say hi and share a little freebie in case you need something for your festivities.

You can grab this simple “Happy New Year” banner printable here. I also included circles for kids to write or draw their goals for 2013, and some blank circles to decorate as you please. Get the whole crew to make some new year’s goals, then display your banner to remind everyone of their resolutions going into the new year.

And if you need another project to keep the kiddos busy while they’re waiting for the ball to drop…
How about some festive paint chip bookmarks!

You can read my detailed instructions for making these here, but basically you just need to pick up some silver/gray/white paint chips and sparkly stickers, embellish, and get ready for lots of reading in 2013!
